Where should a UHF antenna be mounted?
Common mounting points include bull bars, bonnet brackets and guard mounts. The best option depends on the vehicle and antenna type.
Can you install customer supplied UHF radios?
We supply and install equipment matched to your vehicle. Products bought online, including marketplace purchases, are not accepted for installation. Equipment purchased from Autobarn, Repco or Supercheap Auto may be considered after an in-person compatibility inspection. We use new wiring, not customer-run wiring. Used equipment is accepted only where it is a trusted brand removed by Garage Audio and retained in our possession.
How long does UHF installation take?
Most standard UHF installs can be completed within the day. More complex fit-outs or fleet installs may take longer.
