Ampire immobiliser FAQs.

Will Ampire stop someone who has stolen or cloned my key?

A correctly installed and armed WFS400 adds an independent disarm requirement, so the factory key alone is not intended to authorise driving. No immobiliser provides absolute theft prevention or prevents a vehicle from being towed.

Do I need an extra key fob or remote?

No additional fob is needed for normal PIN-based operation on WFS400-LIN or WFS400-PRO. The PRO can also support compatible smartphone disarming or an optional RF transponder if you prefer.

What's the difference between WFS400-LIN and WFS400-PRO?

Both support a personalised PIN using compatible factory buttons. The PRO adds optional smartphone and RF transponder disarming. We'll help you choose based on the vehicle and your preference for PIN-only or additional convenience.

Can I let a mechanic or valet use the vehicle?

Yes. Ampire includes a service mode for circumstances such as workshop servicing. We'll demonstrate the correct process for your installed model and configuration.

Does it work on my Ranger, Hilux, LandCruiser or Patrol?

It may, but compatibility is specific to the build year, variant and supported vehicle software. Send us the exact details so we can check before making an installation recommendation.
