Plan the layout before the wiring

Bring the ute and your canopy layout. Drawers, fridge slides, doors and equipment access affect where batteries, outlets and controls can be mounted. We plan cable routes and service access before installation.

  • List the equipment you will run and its power requirements.
  • Tell us how long you expect to remain parked.
  • Provide battery, charger and solar-panel details if already fitted.
  • Identify future accessories you may want to add.

A clear electrical fitout scope

Your quote can include a compatible auxiliary battery and DC-DC charger, protected distribution, fridge and accessory outlets, USB charging, Anderson connectors, battery monitoring and suitable lighting circuits. Solar inputs and inverter options are assessed for the chosen equipment and installation.

This is an electrical accessory service. Canopy fabrication, drawers, structural modifications and fixed 240V wiring are not included in this offer.

Installation and handover

We install new wiring with appropriate protection, secure mounting and accessible connections. The agreed equipment is checked and its operation explained at collection. Actual battery runtime depends on the loads, conditions and how the system is used.

Common questions

Can you work around an existing canopy and drawers?

We assess access and mounting space with the vehicle present. Some components may need to be repositioned or removed for access; this is agreed before installation.

Can the system be built in stages?

Yes. Tell us the planned final setup so the initial wiring and equipment layout can allow for suitable future additions.

Can you connect to wiring I have already run?

We use new wiring for our installations and do not install using customer-run wiring. Existing faults or questionable wiring can be assessed before a replacement scope is quoted.

Can you fit equipment I already own?

We supply and install equipment matched to your vehicle. Products bought online, including marketplace purchases, are not accepted for installation. Equipment purchased from Autobarn, Repco or Supercheap Auto may be considered after an in-person compatibility inspection. We use new wiring, not customer-run wiring. Used equipment is accepted only where it is a trusted brand removed by Garage Audio and retained in our possession.

Plan your installation

Send your vehicle year, make, model and variant, the accessories you need, and how you use the vehicle. We can provide an initial estimate by email. A firm quote and booking require the vehicle to be inspected in store, and a deposit secures the booking.
