The bold design of the tweeter housing fits into the top dash corners directly replacing the OEM dash trim panels, providing perfect integration with an OEM look. The large strontium magnets housed on the back of S-Series speakers mean business. Combined with large voice coils and Alpine’s patented HAMR Surrounds, increase cone excursion and the force of the driver to provide louder, punchier sound.
Not only does Alpine’s patented High Amplitude Multi-Roll (HAMR) surround maintain full control over the cone at any stage of excursion for high SPL. It’s ability to far exceed the maximum linear excursion of regular domed surround allows for beautifully pure sound and punchy bass.
