The wiring is the foundation of every amp install. Undersized cable causes voltage drop and overheating. We use quality ZeroFlex and Stinger wiring and install everything to spec — correctly fused, correctly grounded.
What Goes Into a Proper Amp Wiring Install
Power Cable
The backbone of any amp install. We use ZeroFlex ultra-flexible power cable — high strand count, OFC copper, rated for the current draw of your amplifiers.
RCA Interconnects
Low-noise shielded RCA leads for clean signal transfer from head unit to amp. Twisted pair construction to reject electrical interference.
In-Line Fusing
ANL or blade fuse holder within 450mm of the battery — mandatory for safety and insurance. Correctly rated for your wire gauge.
Ground Wire
Short, heavy-gauge ground to bare metal chassis. The most overlooked part of an amp install — a bad ground causes noise and failure.
Remote Turn-On Wire
Connects the amp to the head unit's remote output so it powers up and down correctly with the ignition.
Speaker Wire
Correct gauge speaker wire from amp to drivers. We don't reuse factory wire — proper runs are made for every speaker.
