Will a dash cam drain my battery?+
Not if installed correctly. We set the voltage cut-off on every hardwired install so the camera shuts off before your battery gets too low. You'll never come back to a flat battery because of a dash cam we installed.
Can the wiring be seen after installation?+
No — we hide all wiring behind the trim, headliner and A-pillar. You won't see a single cable. This is the biggest difference between a professional install and doing it yourself.
Will installation affect my vehicle warranty?+
In most cases, no. A properly hardwired dash cam using the correct fuse tap method won't void your vehicle warranty. We've installed in hundreds of new vehicles without issue. If you're concerned, ask us and we'll advise.
What happens if I sell the car?+
You can either leave the dash cam in as a selling point, or we can remove it and reinstall in your new vehicle. Transfer installs are a simple job — give us a call.
Can I view footage on my phone?+
Yes — most of the cameras we install (iRoad, Thinkware) have companion apps that let you view footage, adjust settings and download clips from your phone via WiFi. We'll walk you through the app before you leave.
How long does dash cam installation take?+
Most installs take 1–2 hours. A basic front-only hardwire is around 45 minutes. A 3-channel system takes 2–3 hours. We'll give you an exact time when you book.

Can you install a dash cam I already bought?+
Yes. Labour rates apply. We recommend checking with us first though — some cheaper cameras aren't worth installing due to heat issues or poor parking mode performance.
